The Order of
DeMolay was founded in Kansas City in 1919 by, Frank S Land a
local community leader, restaurateur, and Freemason.

The Order of
DeMolay was founded by Frank S. Land and 9 young men who wanted
to form a baseball team, which eventually turned into an
organization which has Chapters in all fifty states, 13
countries, over 1,000 Chapters, and over 1,000,000 alumni.

DeMolay has
among its alumni; Walt Disney, Mel Blanc, Bill Clinton, and John
Wayne.
St. Andrew's
Chapter History:

Founded on
March 7th, 1923, St. Andrews Chapter first resided in
Schenectady, NY but, in 1996 moved to Amsterdam, NY and has
remained there ever since.

St. Andrews
was the 500th Chapter to be founded internationally.

St. Andrews
counts amongst its alumni at least two Past-State Master
Councilors, one of which would also become International Master
Councilor
