St. Andrews Chapter Initiation
February 16th, 2008
St. Andrews Chapter initiated four new members on Saturday, February 16th, 2008 with the help of Orange-Rockland Central Chapter and Franklin D. Roosevelt Chapter. The ceremony went well with many parents, senior DeMolays, and Advisors in attendance. Food was provided following the event by St. Andrews Chapter. Approximately 30 people were in attendance for this event.
St. Andrews Chapter 85th Anniversary Celebration
March 15th, 2008
On Saturday, March 15th, 2008 DeMolays, Masons, and family from throughout New York State spent the evening at the Amsterdam Masonic Temple celebrating the 85th Anniversary of St. Andrews Chapter Order of DeMolay. The event began at 6:15 PM with Hourdourves and beverages, then a ham dinner which began shortly thereafter. The evening also had a brief presentation of the history of St. Andrews Chapter and a presentation of the DeMolay public ceremony, the Ceremony of Light. There were in attendance several special guests from throughout the state, as well as local politicians who presented proclamations on behalf of their constituency.
These guests included:
Assemblyman George Amedore (105th NY State Assembly District)
The 2nd Ward Alderman, Dan Roth of the City of Amsterdam representing Mayor Ann Thane
Kathleen Joyce, the representative of Congressman Michael McNulty
A letter was also presented by the Master Councilor of St. Andrews Chapter, Josh Krajewski received from the office of NY State Senator Hugh Farley.
Other distinguished guests included:
Dad David Glassman (Executive Officer of NY DeMolay)
Dad Craig Henderson (Hudson Valley Division Executive Officer)
Dad Bob Siebold (Hudson Valley Division Dad)
Brother Brian Bidnick (Deputy State Master Councilor) who represented Brother Chris Roberts (State Master Councilor of New York DeMolay)
Clayton Swain (District Deputy Grand Master: Fulton-Montgomery District) who represented Neil Bidnick (Grand Master of Masons in the State of New York)
Miss Tina Brandt (NY DeMolay State Sweetheart)
The evening went well with more than 70 people in attendance. The Chapter was able to raise more than $300 above and beyond those costs which the event merited, even at only $12 for the evening. Many kind words were shared throughout the evening and even following the event, which has once again reinforced St. Andrews Chapter as one of the premier DeMolay Chapters in the State of New York.
A special thanks to the members and advisors of St. Andrews Chapter for their support in the planning and execution of this spectacular event.

St. Andrews Chapter Installation Of Officers
April 26th, 2008
On Saturday, April 26th, 2008 approximately fifty DeMolays, Advisors, family and guests gathered at the Amsterdam Masonic Temple for the Installation of Officers for St. Andrews Chapter Order of DeMolay. At this Installation Bro. Josh Reisinger was installed as Master Councilor, and also recieved the Founder's Membership Award along with the immediate Past-Master Councilor, Bro. Josh Krajewski. Other awards were handed out to many of the other brethren of the Chapter, most of whom were new but a few months or even weeks ago. The Installation concluded with excellent food downstairs which was enjoyed by all in attendance.

In the most recent release of the Grand Lodge of F. A. & M of the State of New York pictures and an excellent article appear on the 85th Anniversary festivities of St. Andres Chapter which took place this past term in March of 2008.
